Adults have used A.R.R.O.W.® in Colleges, Learning Centres, Job Training Centres, the Royal Navy, Royal Marines and in the Home throughout the UK
Millions of adults face challenges with literacy, often limiting opportunities in education, employment, and everyday life.
Many have previously tried to improve their reading, writing or speech skills through traditional learning methods without achieving the progress they hoped for. A.R.R.O.W.® offers a different approach, helping adult learners across the country to make rapid and lasting improvements in literacy, communication and confidence.

How can an adult get A.R.R.O.W.® help?
Your local college may be using A.R.R.O.W.® - contact them and find out. If A.R.R.O.W.® is not available at college, A.R.R.O.W.® help can be given through a Distance Learning Program.
Does it take a long time to improve?
Adults report that they have never met a faster system than A.R.R.O.W.®.
Adults using A.R.R.O.W.® even make greater and faster reading spelling and writing progress than any other group of A.R.R.O.W.® students.
Adults can sustain their attention/work rate longer than younger students and find that listening to their own voice (the Self-Voice ®) is of great help.
A first course of 7-10 hours will immediately show improvement in an adult’s reading, spelling, listening and writing skills. Short A.R.R.O.W. learning sessions of 20 minutes are required, ideally delivered 4-5 times per week. A total of 7-10 hours of training (one complete program) is usually needed to show progress although very positive results have been observed after only 2-3 hours. It is suggested that 3-4 programs will make the most of an adult’s learning skills.
What do adults like about A.R.R.O.W.®?
Adults enjoy the success they achieve in reading, writing, speaking and listening through A.R.R.O.W.®. They appreciate the adult-focused learning materials, as well as the self-paced, independent approach that differs from a traditional classroom setting. Many adults prefer to work independently, reading, recording and reviewing their own work with very little support from others.
